How to communicate with SmVaK Ostrava and how to manage requirements without a face-to-face contact:
- A free customer line, 800 292 400, is available on working days from 7.30am until 5pm.
- E-mail smvak@smvak.cz.
- Services can be booked using the application: nabidkasluzeb.smvak.cz.
- Customers can download important forms and documents in the Downloads section.
- The Statement Department. People can enter their request through the website vyjadreni.smvak.cz, or using a free line by calling 800 292 400. If a person needs to clarify if a water/wastewater network is located on their land, or if it is possible to connect to such network, or if project documentation needs to be approved, such request can be uploaded digitally using the website www.smvak.cz without having to come physically to a Customer Centre.
Services for customers are provided in five Customer Centres (Ostrava, Frýdek-Místek, Karviná, Nový Jičín, and Opava) and in a point of sale in Velké Losiny. Contacts below.
Customer Centre’s services
- Signing contracts and amendments to contracts;
- Making of changes in water/wastewater tariff data;
- Discussing the bills and drafting a request for a instalment schedule;
- Paying water tariff, sewage charges, and other fees;
- Processing of complaints;
- Submitting a request for installation of a water/wastewater service pipe;
- Applying for technical specification for different construction projects;
- Placing an order for installation or repair of a water/wastewater service pipe;
- Placing an order for other services.
Dear customers. We would like to inform you that the amendment to the Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection entered into force on 1 February 2013. Pursuant to the Act, a consumer may settle any complaint disputes with a goods supplier or service provider out of court.
A consumer (this means an individual who does not carry on business) and is not satisfied with supplier’s settlement of the their claim may contact Česká Obchodní inspekce (Czech Commercial Inspection) and may require that such dispute should be settled out of court. The consumer may file such claim not later than one year after the day when he filed for his right which is a subject of dispute with the seller. For more information read na www.coi.cz.
