Client centres and sales points of SmVaK Ostrava closed until further notice

Our customers may use the staffed-up call centres, use special applications at www.smvak.cz or contact the water company by e-mail

Ostrava, 16 March 2020 – On preventive grounds, Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava decided to restrict personal contacts of its employees with the general public as of 17 March. This means that sales points and client centres will be closed down until further notice. The authorisation department is also closed down for any physical contacts. No water materials will be sold from the company’s central warehouse in Frýdek-Místek either. The water company has prepared several options for its clients to resolve their issues and place their requirements without the need to visit the company’s premises.

“As a preventive measure given the growing number of Czech citizens who were tested positive for the novel coronavirus, we have decided to eliminate the risk of its spreading and close down all the areas where customers meet our employees most often. Even in these difficult days, it is our priority to inconvenience our clients as least as possible. Therefore we are offering many other options for clients to communicate with us and to resolve their issues. For example, we have staffed up our call centre and set up a special e-mail box for the clients to send their requests to,” says Mr. Anatol Pšenička, SmVaK Ostrava.

How people can communicate with SmVaK Ostrava and resolve their issues:
