Parameters of the drinking water

Quality of drinking water in the Czech Republic is governed by the Act on Protection of Public Health No. 258/2000 Coll. as amended and by the associated regulations.
The regulation defines indicators and limits for drinking water and stipulates the minimum frequency of samples taken per year and the scope of drinking water samples taken in the water network.
SmVaK Ostrava analyses the samples and monitors the relevant quality parameters in the drinking water.
